About
Here you go free-lifters, introducing the Body-Solid Folding Multi-Bench | GFID225. Before weight machines took over gym floors and garage space there were free weights. There were no machines on Venice beach only the simple steel bars and plates. Top body builders in the industry didn’t build all that lean muscle with cables and pulleys either.
Free-weights have been a long standing time honored tradition amongst weightlifters and fitness enthusiasts. Free-weights present all of the benefits without the common restrictions found with health club machines that are rigged with pulleys and cables.
While machines boast ergonomic movement and range of motion, they are really just trying to mimic the movements easily produced with a bar and plates.
Traditional Meets Innovative
Body-Solid is the undisputed leader in the commercial and home gym industry. Their straightforward and innovative approach to fitness has taken the fitness industry into the next generation. Using only the highest quality materials and revolutionary designs Body-Solid has become recognized worldwide for their exceptional products.
Machines aren’t the only thing they have put a new spin on, they’ve taken traditional weight lifting by storm as well. Ground breaking design is put into use with even the simplest of fitness accessories and utilities.
Super Durable, Reliable, and Convenient
Most fitness equipment on the market today is constructed with a flimsy two sided weld, making that brand new bench or machine prone to breaking in a short period of time. Not the Body-Solid Folding Multi Bench. Using only high tensile strength 2”x 3” steel tubing with continuous four sided welds, the Body-Solid Folding Multi-Bench | GFID225 is built to last a lifetime.
With seven adjustment positions the multi-bench can get into the perfect position for doing wrist curls or shoulder presses and is quickly positioned for chest presses or pec flys. It’s also perfect for positioning under a weight rack for easy lifting and comfort. Once the workout is over, simply fold the bench up and slide it under a bed, into a closet space, or roll it out of the way on built-in wheels.
No More Flat Foam Discomfort
The Body-Solid Folding Multi-Bench | GFID225 weight lifting benches beyond ordinary. If you’ve ever spent an extended set on a traditional weight bench you know they are pretty uncomfortable.
Body-Solid has given the weight bench a makeover and turned it into the most comfortable weight bench ever; point blank. Every piece in the product line is equipped with the best foam padding known to man, DuraFirm.
It’s nothing to see weight benches with huge gouges and tears when made with ordinary foam padding, or sit down on one that has no padding left but a thin flat piece. DuraFirm is made to last the life of the bench. DuraFirm will not rip or tear like ordinary foam padding and it is guaranteed to never bottom out. Over 2 inches of incredible DuraFirm padding adorn the Body-Solid Folding Multi Bench, making it the most comfortable bench available.

Can this bench be used for decline exercises?
The bench only declines one notch past level, so my thought is that if you do a bunch of those kinds of exercises this may not be the best choice. I don’t do them so there may be a million you can do with it that I’m not aware of though

"When I decided that I just did not have time to go to the gym, I did lots of research on good-quality benches. I knew that the bench have to be the best that I could afford, while still keeping me safe. I decided on this bench and have not been disappointed at all!!! Very solid construction, no wobble whatsoever, and I even have it on carpet in a room upstairs of my house! I weigh 250 and have not had any fear of this thing collapsing on me! I bought a safety rack with this to do freeweight exercises. Would buy it again in one second! Have used it for dumbbell exercises as well as barbell. It does sit high off the ground, and I'm 6'4". But there's a foot rest that I'm sure would be stable enough for you to put your feet on if that was an issue for flat bench decline or incline. I've been using x 3 A week since the end of April, and it still looks new! I plan on having his bench for a very long time! Total weight on the bench at one time including me, 450 pounds and not a shake!"

"Definitely a well thought out purchase for me and I couldn't be happier. Very well constructed and very solid padding. I am happy it came fully assembled. The hardest part was taking the plastic off the cushions! It was a little too heavy for me to handle getting down my basement stairs to my home gym. I'm a lightweight female, so I definitely needed my son's assistance. He handled it himself. Other than that, this is exactly what I wanted."

"I have been using Body Beast as my workout program for years, and have been using a stability ball in lieu of a bench. I have reached a point where I have maxed out what I can achieve with the ball, so I started researching collapsible benches since I have very limited storage space. This bench was perfect for my needs based on the specs and previous reviews. Once I received it, I was blown away by the quality and stability of it. It is absolutely perfect for my needs. I am 6'1", and I was concerned if it would be too short in length. But instead, I am very happy to find out that it not only accommodates my height, but is also very comfortable to use. Now I can expand on my weight lifting routines and increase the weights without being concerned of pulling a muscle while I try to maintain balance. This bench is very rock solid stable, and very easy to fold up for convenient storage. I highly recommend it and I am very happy with the purchase."
