How smooth are the movements? Does it feel commercial quality? A lot of times these home gyms do not feel smooth?
Very smoot. I have had mine for 7 years. Must clean the steel rods the weights slide along and oil pulleys on a routine basis.

Does the unit fit in a corner?
I would say maybe not, because you have to allow space on either side as working space. If it sat a little out from the corner it might work. Be sure to allow about 8′ in front of the unit for working space, for the low pulley exercises.

Is there a hamstring curl option?
Yes, the leg Extension doubles as a seated leg curl. You just adjust the “pull-pins” to change the setting.

The picture shows no leg press does it come with the option of a leg press?
No, the extra seat is a leg developer CAM. If you want a leg press, I would recommend the Body-Solid G9S, or the EXM3000LPS, both are dual stack and come standard with leg press. The 3000 is similar or cheaper than the G10.

"I owned an old Body Solid EXM-1100 for over a decade and it finally broke, so I decided it was time to build a new exercise room and get a new gym to go in it. I looked at other brands but I had great faith in Body Solid because of how well-made my old one was and that one was a low-cost one for tight space areas. The deal is great to buy online and I saved a TON over buying it locally where the store would deliver it and assemble it for you. Beware however that the instructions are crude given how much work is involved in the assembly. I got a palate shipped to me with 12-15 boxes weighing a total of about 1,200 pounds. Once I opened them all there were easily 1,000 parts including all of the nuts, bolts and screws, and the instructions are wordless pictures on about 20 pages of paper. It took me about a week with periodic work in the evenings and on weekends. I had to guess on a few assembly areas because there were no pictures for a few items. I have been using it for about 2 months now and I LOVE it! The gym works extremely well and I am very finnicky about the movement of a gym and this one is very good."

"Took a while to put it together, I don't think the engineers and technical writers have ever been in the same room together and assembled one of these things. Went through the parts list and ordered missing parts before starting...turns out the parts weren't missing, they just didn't look anything like the diagrams so ended up with duplicates for a few parts. The machine has very smooth operation, is easy to change the position settings and can do exercises for every muscle group"
