CUSTOMER QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
The spacing of the lat-pull down handles looks wide enough to be awkward, is the grip too-wide?
No…This is a well crafted machine.
While reviewing this and other brands, I also had some concerns about the position of the handles but I found that coupled with the swivel joints, bench positioning overcomes any awkwardness that one may experience initially.
My wife, at 4’11”, has no difficulty working with this machine.

What is the machine weight capacity in terms of plate weight for the bench, lat pulldown, row, and squat stations?
FID46 bench is 600 lbs. LSA50 squat is 600 lbs. Lat pull down 800 lbs. Row 600 lbs

Can the chest-developer portion be used for seated shoulder press with the included bench (or does it have to be done while standing?
Everything is fully adjustable. So you can do everything from declined bench to seated shoulder press. You will not be disappointed!

The lsa50 AND FID46 bench are included. The system is just as is shown in the pictures.

The bench moves right? What is the smallest space you can get away with during non use? and then is use? Room had 2 open walls into hallways.
Hi, about 92″L x 60″W. The bench on the left end of pic is not attached to the machine so you can fold. You can remove the leg extension/ preacher curl attachment

The description states 83" tall. Is that all the clearance I need or do parts go higher when it's being used?
No that is as high as the machine will go. You can use every attachment without it moving over that height

Can the machine perform seated back rows?
The row exercises possible on this gym are Bent Over Row, Chest-Supported Mid-Row, One Arm Row, High Row and Upright Row.

"I received this equipment on a Friday and was able to have it assembled for use on Sunday night. I would give it about 6 total hours, make sure you have a socket wrench. Everything was very easy to assemble, the hardest part is getting the main frame together, you will probably want assistance for that. On to the product, the movement on all of the parts is fluid and silent. Perfect for working out at night. I am 6'4'' and had a little trouble with the leg extension as my legs are just a bit too long for the apparatus. If I were one inch shorter it would not be an issue. The Preacher curl is not the best but the bench is very comfortable and you can use it easily with dumbbells. Give yourself about a week to get acquainted with the equipment. You need to plan out your workouts so you aren't constantly changing the grips and handles. The compact nature of the machine allows for very efficient and intense workouts. I would recommend this product and all Body Solid products. The steel is super thick and when assembled this thing is not going anywhere."
