How much weight can i put on this machine. I was very disappointment by another machine I bought. I put 3 45’s on each side. Will it hold that?

Is the disengage/engage lever completely out of the way when the weightbearing middle piece is moving up and down or does it brush off a little?
No, the lever does not brush up or rub against anything while performing reps. Although, this calf machine is not a clubline series. It is most definitely commercial equipment that is built to last a lifetime for a home gym. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

Will it comfortably fit petite people too? I am 5’3 and have shorter arms and legs compared to most people
Yes I’m 6’4 and use it. My girlfriend is 5’2 and I can move it low enough for her!!

This unit comes with a 1″ diameter weight horn – so you can use both standard weight plates (1″ diameter hole) or Olympic plates (2″ diameter hole).

What size olympic adapter is appropriate, 8" or 14"?
The 8 inch olympic adapter is long enough to slip onto the bar for holding the plates (so you will need two of these), which also provides sufficient space to hold the plates you might use. Just a FYI – I was not very pleased with the BodySolid adapters because the hex bolt did not work well on 2 of the 4 adapters I purchased. You may get a good pair from BodySolid

After several heavy reps, is it hard to set the middle weightbearing piece back on the lever like most cheap seated calf machines?

What is the max weight?
Per the manufacturer, the Body-Solid GSCR349 has a maximum recommended weight capacity of 300 pounds on the weight posts. There is no “user” weight capacity rating.

Are the plate holders Olympic 2" pegs or standard 1" pegs?
They are 1″. You need to buy a pair of adapters.

"The only thing I don’t like is the plastic sleeves that accommodate Olympic plates, these are rather cheap and poorly thought out. They do slide around a little, no matter how much you tighten them down, this is the one thing that can be improved upon, otherwise great seated calf raise machine!"
