What are the main differences between the Ex5-x and Ex 7?
The biggest difference between the 5 and the 7 is that the 7 is hard wire connected and also offers Bluetooth. The 5 only has the Bluetooth option.

Saddles are a matter of personal preference. I find the saddle on my EX5s comfortable, you may not. Yes, you can buy different types of saddles to suit yourself.

No, you can use freestyle mode and get those metrics without a monthly subscription. That’s what I do.

Echelon Bikes come with SPD pedals included. Shoes depend what is most comfortable for you as the user and personal preference. There is a large variety available.

This product’s pedals only have the Toe Cages but you can replace the pedals with the Echelon SPD/Toe Cage Pedals.

Can you purchase a different seat for this? I’m wider set, and think I’ll need a bigger or wider seat than what it comes with.
Yes you can purchase a wider seat for the echelon bike. I purchased an off brand bike seat that is compatible with echelon, and it works great. Im able to ride longer because its so much more comfortable than the seat that comes with the bike.

Can the seat angle be adjusted? I know its position (front/back, up/down relative to pedals) can be adjusted.
Yes, there is a bolt and nut that is used to secure the seat to the bike. This can be angled and locked into place at your preferred position.
