SportsArt EcoGlide Auto-Lube system

We occasionally get asked “What is SportsArt Eco-Glide?” – simply put it’s the most efficient treadmill auto lubrication system on the market. Eco-Glide is included on all SportsArt treadmills (except the TR22F).

“Why is it the best”? – unlike other manufactures that use wax that hardens and builds up on the rollers, SportsArt uses a liquid-based silicone. It does not harden or break down and it maintains consistency. The Eco-Glide system offers better protection from walk belt wear, motor overheating and drive board failure. Our engineering team found applying less lubrication more frequently makes walk belts last longer and keeps friction amperage lower – therefore reducing motor heat and damage to drive board components.

“What is that 10 – 20 second whining noise I hear under the hood?” – this noise is normal, after install within the first few weeks the motor used to pump the silicone goes through the priming process. PLEASE do not turn off the treadmill, let it do its thing. Then every 125 miles the whining noise will come back as it lubricates the walk belt, this is also normal.

“How long does it last?” – The lube bottle is designed to last for 25,000 miles (a long time). When it needs replaced, a message will appear on the display to let the customer know. The replacement process takes approximately 5 minutes… it’s very easy.
