Does the bike come assembled?
Partially. Although only minor assembly is required for the front and back horizontal feet (screw driver/small wrench), and the left and right bike pedals (small wrench), and left pedal arm (powertool). The rest of the bike such as the Handlebars and seat are easily installed by simple insertion and adjustment. If you have the tools its a quick and painless process. We didnt have them so it was a small hassle, but the results are far worth it. Very sturdy and reliable piece of machinery no question.

What type of cycle shoes do I need to use with this bike?
While there are two versions of the SPD cleat from Shimano, we recommend the SM-SH56 model (multi-directional release) instead of the SM-SH51 model (lateral release), for use with all Stages Indoor Cycling pedals.
Both models are compatible, but have found better success and less maintenance needed when the SM-SH56 is being used.
The Stages SP3 and SP2 pedals can accommodate both SPD (2-bolt) and Delta (3-bolt) cleats.
The SPD-SL cleat, which is similar to a Delta cleat, is NOT compatible with the Stages SP3 and SP2 pedals.

What are the sizes of the pedal arms? I want to buy the right power meter.
This statement is from the manufacturer, “For indoor bikes including the SC2 it is one size for all power meters. We do not have consoles for those bikes though. We do have a free app for the customers phone that would act as a console.”

"Delivered this bike with white glove service, someone came and delivered it and set it up. Worth it! Just as an FYI--Stages actually builds Soul Cycle bikes, with modifications. Very sturdy bike, I move alot on this bike and have never felt like I was going to tip over. There is a bit of noise with this bike, but not overwhelming. I hate having screens in front of me, I purchased a console that is attached if I ever want to use my tablet or phone. So far haven't used it, I just turn on Youtube. This is one of the best purchases for a study, quality bike."

"I got exactly what I was hoping for at the price point - a very high quality and wonderful product. This thing comes mostly assembled. You will want a box wrench and socket wrench to install the 4 stand bolts. You'll have to use some Allen tools to take the front plastic cowling off and get the handlebar support installed (long length ones work nicely). You'll need a 15mm box wrench to tighten down the pedals. You'll also need a Phillips screwdriver to tighten down the handlebar retaining faceplate after you install it. My major gripe is that Stages does not include any power meter or computer for these things. At this price point, it would have been nice. I understand this is more specialty and class-oriented training, but, come on, who doesn't want to know their stats? Now I need to spend $300-400 on a power meter and figure if I want to use an app or buy some dedicated device or something to get these stats. Props to the seller for getting the shipping done so quickly. "
