ABOUT STAIRMASTER
It was back in 1983 at the National Sporting Goods Association trade show that three American entrepreneurs first revealed the StairMaster brand to fitness culture. On display was none other than the iconic, the original, the globally recognized StairMaster 5000 which was basically nothing more than a never ending mobile and motorized staircase. Brilliant!

The Spartan Training edition of the StairMaster 8Gx Gauntlet 8 Series Stepmill lets you challenge yourself against other racers, offering 6 race options, 3 different race lengths and one hell of a workout.
Strengths Benefits
The StairMaster 8Gx Gauntlet 8 Series Stepmill has adjustable speed and resistance. Using it requires simple balance, but significant strength. Calves, hamstrings, quadriceps and gluteal muscles are trained by lots of repetitions, which is known for building lean muscle and burning fat. Additionally, increasing the resistance of each stepping motion adds challenge. Core muscles are engaged by keeping your balance, which is more challenging on the Stepmill than other similar equipment.
Physiologic Benefits
The StairMaster 8Gx Gauntlet 8 Series Stepmill makes the user work hard without being hard on the user. The stepping motion incurs less impact than a treadmill, but with higher cardiovascular results. The thoughtfully designed handrails provide a safe grip should a misstep occur, but don’t allow you to cheat by leaning on them. The actual stepping motion forces the foot to remain mostly flat while climbing, versus the pedal format, which does not require the foot to leave the pedal. The stepping motion uses nearly every leg muscle.

Though the concept of stair climbing itself is basic to most of us, the StairMaster Gauntlet offers significantly more advanced options. Will this product be assembled at my home?
It depends on your door width. Please confirm width of all doors needed to pass through to reach destination room. Many rooms have a 33″ door width, and the carton dimensions are 58.7″L x 31.9″W x 52″H. Based off the carton dimensions, it ships just under 32” wide. So for a 33″ it would either need to be assembled inside the room or taken apart partially before entry.

I noticed that the total width is 34 in, the room that I need to get the machine into door width is 33 in. Is there any way to make it fit?

This is a curbside delivery and does not include in home installation. We do offer White Glove Delivery which includes installation for an additional cost.

What delivery service do you use to ship this machine?
If you choose the standard “Curbside” delivery option, the delivery service is done with a freight company that calls to schedule a day and time to meet you.
If you choose the “Inside Delivery” option, the delivery service is done by a local van lines company. They will call you to schedule.
If you choose the “Inside Delivery with Assembly” option, we typically would ship it out to a local installer that would make the final delivery and assembly.
